I’m pretty sure we put in more than a 40 work week on our new house over just last WEEKEND! We wasted no time in getting things ready as we thought it would be easier to paint and wallpaper and clean everything BEFORE we moved all of our junk in. It would have also been a good idea to throw away most of the junk we moved from the last place to this place, but we just didn’t have enough time to go through it all and talk ourselves into parting with the useless stuff we hang on to. So i’m going to start posting photos of our progress. I’m really happy with all the work we have done so far, but there is so much further to go.
Here is the kitchen wallpaper/painting.

Here is the current state of our bedroom with the new seafoam color on the walls

The happy couple, in front of our new home…and our pre-baby baby Henry

And the next project on the list is to take out the linoleum floors in the kitchen and bathroom and replace it with some tiny awesome subway tiling like this…

Maybe some green cupboards while we’re at it?

It looks amazing. You guys are awesome. I’m insanely jealous of your upcoming miniscule subway tiling project. I would cover our entire house in that tiny tile if I could. And I’m loving your faux bois rug in the bedroom. Have you seen the photos of the Something’s Hiding In Here duo’s space? It is ridiculously inspiring and if you haven’t seen it, I know you and Marta will like it.
